I have been designing quilts and sewn items in Australia for 13 years and especially love to combine hand-worked stitchery, needle turn applique, paper-piecing and wool appliqué. In my design work, I am always inspired by my home, family and friends. Heartfelt sayings and moments from my life feature in my designs. My design style is a bit naïve and a bit quirky, homely and sentimental, with a sense of humor. I have produced 10 books and have been featured in Australian magazines such as Homespun and Country Threads. My work was also shown in a French publication, Simply Vintage. I live in Brisbane, in sunny Queensland, Australia, with my husband Trevor and our three gorgeous daughters, Jemma, Eliza, and Georgia, our dogs, Roxy and Hamish, and two chickens, Schnitzel and Layla. My favorite day is a rainy day spent sewing with friends!
